You may not know it, but all your credit history, good or bad, is stored
on centralised computer databases owned by the large Credit Agencies such
as Experian.
If you have missed monthly payments or are behind on payments, on mortgages,
credit cards, store cards and loans of any kind, the Credit Agencies will
know. They will also have records if you have County Court Judgements
(CCJ's) registered against you or you have been made Bankrupt. They store
all this information for every member of your household.
Can you still get a mortgage with an Adverse
Credit history?
A mortgage can usually be found but it depends upon the severity of your
credit history. (For example, mortgages are not available for Uncleared
Bankrupts.) Our mortgage partners have access to a wide range of what
are called “sub prime” mortgage lenders who will consider
most applications.
If you would like a quotation now, click below and complete the simple
form. A Mortgage adviser will then phone you within 24 hours to take your
application forward.
