What happens if I develop another Critical Illness or my Critical Illness recurs after making a claim? |

After a successful claim you will receive the tax-free lump sum payout and then policy automatically terminates. You can make no further claims and you are uninsured for all other subsequent illnesses. If you would prefer to have extra financial support in place then it's worth thinking about getting a Life Insurance or even an Income Protection policy to run alongside your Critical Illness policy. If you are off work due to accident, sickness, or unemployment then an Income Protection policy will pay a monthly income for up to 12 months. Most policies make payments for up to 12 months (or until the you are able to work again) from the date you were off work and you decide how much cover you want at the beginning of the policy. The premiums are extremely reasonable.
