What information will I be asked to provide when I apply for a Critical Illness policy? |

|
When you fill out the application form, you will be asked a wide range of questions relating to your height, weight, age, sex, current state of health, occupation, hobbies etc. This is so the insurance company can accurately decide the degree of risk you represent, and if your application form meets the assumptions that made when providing a quote (i.e. you are in good health, you do not have a family history of a certain condition etc) then they will offer you an insurance policy at the price originally quoted. If for any reason they feel you are an ‘above average’ risk, then the
insurance company will have three options: If your application highlights an above average risk then an Underwriter at the insurance
company will personally look through your Application and make a decision. |
