Is it better to get a joint policy than two single policies? |

|
Cost up both Joint and two Single policies. Even though two Single policies will certainly cost more, it may be worthwhile. This is because, with a Joint policy, if one of you is diagnosed with a critical illness then the policy pays out and then terminates. This leaves the other person uninsured and probably at an older age when they will find it more expensive to obtain insurance. However, weigh up the pros and cons because a Joint policy will always be cheaper than two Single policies. A Tip for you: Ask for a price for critical illness and life insurance combined. Sometimes it will be cheaper than Critical Illness cover on its own. That means you get more cover and extra peace of mind for less money!
