If you are pregnant when you fall critically ill, then the pregnancy will make no difference to the claim.

For example, if you suffer a heart attack or stroke while pregnant, or are infected with HIV because of an HIV infected blood transfusion, you would still be able to make a successful claim on your critical illness insurance.
