Should I include Terminal Illness Insurance on my Life Insurance policy? |

|
Most life insurance policies include Terminal Illness cover for no extra cost on all Life and Critical Illness insurance policies, so you don’t need to consider it as an optional extra. Terminal Illness cover means that if you are diagnosed with a terminal illness that you are expected to die from within 12 months, then your insurance policy will pay out immediately. There are many advantages to this - for example, you can use the payout to pay off your mortgage and other debts you may have, and still ideally have money left over to make the time you have left easier. Critical Illness cover provides far more comprehensive cover than Terminal Illness
cover, allowing you an insurance payout if you are diagnosed with a serious illness
from which you survive for over 28 days. It's important to understand the ins and outs
of Critical Illness and Terminal illness cover before you make up your mind to buy
life insurance on its own. |
