If you are behind with your monthly mortgage repayments you will have Mortgage Arrears. Your mortgage lender will have passed details of your Mortgage Arrears to the various credit agencies. This will certainly hinder you if you try to obtain further credit such as a credit card, loan, or indeed, another mortgage.

With mortgage arrears showing on your credit history you will need to apply for an impaired credit mortgage from what is called a “sub-prime” mortgage lender. This means you will be faced with higher rates of interest rates and will be unable to obtain the most favourable terms offered to most other borrowers. Sometimes it may simply be impossible to obtain any mortgage whatsoever.

If you have mortgage arrears you may still be able to get a mortgage through our mortgage partners. Complete the simple quotation form and one of our mortgage partners will get back to you within 24 hours with a range of competitive quotations.
